waterfront. This year, Pier Sounds once again honors this legacy while continuing the focus on
artists, performers, and vendors with deep roots in Seattle’s diverse communities.
Friends appreciates event sponsor and waterfront neighbor Stanley , whose generous support is
helping to make the second annual Pier Sounds concerts bigger and better than ever.
Friends’ Director of Public Programs Yoon Kang O’Higgins said, “We’re so excited to be
partnering with KEXP’s Fresh Off the Spaceship and the Black Constellation Collective for this
show. Pier Sounds is all about giving Seattle’s tremendous local artists a fitting platform to share
their music. It’ll be a fun and beautiful evening to remember on Pier 62.”
Pier Sounds’ second concert is on September 3, and will feature artists Shaina Shepherd, Fly
Moon Royalty, NightTraiN, and Breaks and Swells. For more on the artists, see piersounds.org.
